Job SummaryWe're looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Associates to join our team. As a Tax Associate, you'll be responsible for conducting tax interviews with clients, preparing accurate tax returns, generating business growth, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities- Conduct tax interviews with clients face-to-face and through virtual tools
- Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
- Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
- Provide clients with IRS support
- Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration
To be successful as a Tax Associate, you'll need:
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone, and chat
- Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone, and in writing
- Must meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
- High school diploma / equivalent or higher
As a Tax Associate at H&R Block, you'll enjoy a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. You'll also receive:
