As a Direct Care Staff member at Telecare Corp., you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring disorders. Our Enhanced Behavioral Supports Homes (EBSHs) provide 24-hour non-medical care in a homelike setting, empowering individuals to live as independently as possible in their chosen community.

About the Position

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced individual to join our team as a Direct Care Staff member in Anaheim, CA. In this role, you will provide support and case management for members served with developmental disabilities and co-occurring disorders under the supervision of our Team Leader. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting individuals with daily living tasks, supporting them in achieving their goals and aspirations through person-centered planning and positive behavior supports, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

What You Will Do

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Providing direct care and special services to individuals with developmental disabilities;
  2. Assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care and hygiene;
  3. Supporting individuals in achieving their goals and aspirations through person-centered planning and positive behavior supports;
  4. Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans;
  5. Transporting clients to appointments and activities using your personal vehicle, which must be insured and registered in your name.
