Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at Fertility Centers of New England.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $ $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as 401(k) matching.

Job Responsibilities
  • Baseline Gynecological Scan: Conduct thorough trans-vaginal 2D and 3D ultrasound scans to assess the patient's uterine and ovarian health, as well as follicle counts.
  • Treatment Scans: Utilize 3D technology to monitor ovarian follicles and track patient progress.
  • Patient Education: Clearly explain procedures to patients, ensuring their cooperation and optimal test results.
  • Data Analysis: Evaluate and interpret ultrasound data to provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Infection Control: Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control policies.
  • Critical Thinking: Identify urgent or unusual cases and refer them to the appropriate staff members.
  • Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in diagnostic ultrasound through ongoing training and education.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of one year of experience as an OBGYN Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with the American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasound (ARDMS).
  • Strong background in infertility ultrasound, preferably with experience in scanning and interpreting ultrasounds.
