Job Summary

This position supports the Vice President of Finance in the financial activities of the Marshall Medical clinics of Marshall Medical Center. The Financial Analyst will participate in the preparation and analysis of MM financial statements and reports, physician compensation calculations, and ensuring physician groups are paid timely and correctly per contract(s).

Key Responsibilities

Participate in the preparation and analysis of MM financial statements and reports
Conduct physician compensation calculations and ensure timely and correct payments per contract(s)
Analyze monthly and annual accumulation of clinic statistics, cost, and revenue for MM financial statement preparation
Provide assistance in the preparation of the MM annual operating and capital budgets
Independently lead the financial review and analysis of annual clinic inventory
Review and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed

Requirements

Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field required with one year of experience in a healthcare accounting environment OR a minimum of three years staff accountant experience is required
Extensive knowledge of Excel software; working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Knowledge of physician practices and physician compensation arrangements preferred
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions; ability to reprioritize workload as needed; ability to handle multiple tasks at once and meet deadlines
