At Whole Foods Market - Yonkers, we are seeking a highly skilled Produce Department Supervisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and leading a high-performing team.

Job Description:

This role is responsible for the daily operations of the Produce department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to motivate and develop their team members, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and delegate tasks to Produce Team Members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Training and Development: Work with the Produce Trainer to train new Team Members, utilizing learning checklists and training materials to build a high-performance team.
  • Department Maintenance: Ensure all cases and shelves are clean, well-stocked, and properly rotated, adhering to established procedures.
  • Customer Service: Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs, directing Team Members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers.
Requirements:
  • 12+ months retail experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of Produce team procedures and policies.
  • Strong demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
Benefits:

As a valued member of our team, you will receive a competitive salary of $19.75 - $27.50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
