Payroll Director

Moran Towing Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Payroll to lead our payroll operations. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for overseeing all payroll functions and teams across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Payroll Integration: Lead the integration of payroll systems and processes to ensure seamless adaptation to new technologies.
- Payroll Processing: Oversee the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and resolving discrepancies or errors.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of payroll professionals, providing oversight, mentoring, and guidance on best practices and payroll technologies.
- Policy Development: Develop and implement new payroll policies and procedures, and revise existing ones to ensure compliance with changing regulations.
- Strategic Planning: Create long-term and short-term strategic goals for continuous improvement of payroll activities, identifying opportunities for automation and process enhancements.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a senior-level payroll leadership position, with 10+ years of progressive payroll processing experience in multi-location environments.
- Skills: Expert computer skills using MS Windows 11 Office Suite and integrated/automated payroll systems, with experience in payroll integrations, UKG, ADP, or other advanced enterprise-level HCM payroll platforms.
- Certifications: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is preferred.
- Competitive Compensation: Salary range $110,000 - $150,000 per year.
