About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Granite City Food & Brewery. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing kitchen team, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and respect.
  • Analyze kitchen operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain a menu that showcases our culinary expertise and meets the evolving tastes of our guests.
  • Collaborate with our management team to drive business growth, manage labor costs, and maintain high standards of quality and service.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a talented team of chefs and kitchen staff, promoting their professional growth and development.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and scheduling software.
