Job SummaryThe Teller I is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and financial support to our members. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Process member financial transactions, including cash and negotiable instrument deposits and withdrawals
- Assist members with their Credit Union financial needs, both in person and on the phone
- Refer members to appropriate Credit Union personnel for services outside the scope of given responsibility
- Identify cross-sell opportunities for new/existing members to enhance their relationship with the Credit Union
- Balance cash and negotiable instrument transactions daily
- Resolve member questions and concerns, both in person and over the phone
- 6 months or more of cash handling experience and/or 6 months or more of customer service experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work well with others
- Proficient with Microsoft 365
