About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including in-center and out-of-center sleep testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct polysomnographic data acquisition and analysis to identify sleep disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address sleep disorders.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Requirements

  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist by BRPT.
  • Successful completion of a sleep technology program associated with a state licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility or successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to a certificate or associate degree with an emphasis in sleep technology.
  • Current licensure with the North Carolina Medical Board.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One (1) year of working experience performing sleep studies, including PAP titrations (i.e., CPAP, BiLevel, and other approved devices).

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $62,000 - $72,000, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
