About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Sollis Health. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide expert emergency medical care to our patients in a serene and private environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform medical evaluations and formulate treatment plans for urgent and emergent care within the scope of emergency medicine.
  • Lead the medical management of patients in our clinics, working closely with a team of PAs, nurses, and technicians to discuss assessments.
  • Assess and treat Covid-related cases, including obtaining clinical samples, performing point-of-care testing, and providing general symptom management.
  • Work closely with the Medical Director and other clinical team members to ensure adherence to policies and deliver quality care in an innovative setting.
  • Coordinate additional care with our After Care and house calls teams or with Medical Partners.
  • Make patients and family members comfortable, answering questions patiently and professionally, and using patient-centered empathetic communication.
Requirements
  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University.
  • Physician state license and ability to practice in the state of New York.
  • Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency and emergency medicine board certification required.
  • 2+ years experience as a physician in the emergency department and/or urgent care center after residency required.
  • DEA license required.
Skills
  • Strong clinical skills.
  • Tech savvy with the ability to use and/or learn our systems, including Slack, Athena Health, Salesforce, and Humanity.
  • Superb technical skills, including phlebotomy, peripheral IV placement, medication administration, and bedside manner.
  • Comfortable with the emergency department and urgent care environment.
  • Adaptable and able to work in a fluid, multitasking environment.
  • Strong process and organizational skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and think outside the box.
Compensation

$185-$190 per hour (New York candidates only). Actual pay dependent on experience, location, education, etc.
