Fire Alarm Project Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Convergint. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, programming, testing, and repairing fire alarm systems in various locations. You will also provide technical support and training to customers.
Responsibilities
- Install, program, test, repair, and service fire alarm systems and equipment
- Provide technical support and training to customers
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and customer interactions
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure successful project delivery
- Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Perform other duties as required by management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in electronics or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in fire alarm system installation and maintenance
- NICET Level II certification in fire alarm systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to travel locally to job sites on a regular basis
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience. Our benefits package includes:
