Strategic Branch Manager

About the Role
S and T Bank seeks a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Branch Manager to lead our mid-size branch office in providing exceptional customer service, promoting bank products and services, and driving business growth.
Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the efficient and effective operation of the branch, ensuring compliance with bank policies and procedures.
- Culture Development: Foster a sales and quality service culture by coaching and mentoring team members, instilling a positive attitude, and motivating employees to achieve their best.
- Leadership: Communicate expectations, goals, and objectives to branch personnel, review and recommend improved operating policies and procedures, and ensure proper implementation and maintenance.
- Lending Activities: Manage branch lending activities, including interviewing loan customers, preparing and processing loan applications, and tracking reports.
- Sales and Service: Focus on executing S&T sales conversations, documenting customer interactions, and recommending suitable products and services.
- Human Resources: Act as first-line human resource administrator, completing leadership classes, observing sales platform team members, conducting employee performance reviews, and handling personnel issues.
- Branch Management: Oversee dashboard and pipeline management, manage branch profitability, and direct delivery of services to customers.
- Community Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships within the community served by the branch.
- Audit Responsibilities: Handle certain branch audit responsibilities in areas of operations, compliance, and security.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven track record in managing a similar role, preferably in a banking or financial institution.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
