About the Role

UMHS is seeking highly skilled Community Support Technicians to provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Wilmington area.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing community and living supports, as well as community networking services to our clients. This role requires a strong ability to work one-on-one with individuals and provide assistance with daily living needs and habilitative skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide community and living supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Assist with daily living needs, including personal care and household management
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and self-advocacy
Requirements
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
