About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at American House Senior Living Communities. As a Certified Nursing Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer quality care to meet the total needs of residents, including medication administration, handling, and storage.
  • Provide assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Observe changes in resident status, needs, or preferences and communicate them to the Wellness Director.
  • Offer emotional support and comfort to residents, promoting a positive and caring environment.
  • Assist with vital signs and weight monitoring, completing all required documentation.
  • Participate in resident move-in and move-out processes, ensuring a smooth transition for our residents.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Current Unencumbered LPN license in the state.
  • Up-to-date first aid and CPR certification.
  • 2+ years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or geriatrics.
  • Experience working with dementia residents is preferred.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
