Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Choctaw Global. In this role, you will provide internal clinical behavioral health and leader support and training to commanders and Soldiers within the Office of the Command Psychologist US Army Recruiting Command (USAREC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement unit behavioral health initiatives to create a positive and safe environment for Soldiers and their Families.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based/evidence-informed, approved psychotherapy modalities.
  • Conduct research, surveys, and analysis to identify trends that may impede organizational or individual effectiveness.
  • Train leaders to identify signs of stress and subsequent appropriate leader actions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold a PsyD or PhD doctoral degree in clinical or counseling Psychology from a graduate program Accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).
  • Have one (1) year of supervised clinical experience at an APA-accredited internship program.
  • Shall be in good standing and hold unrestricted Clinical Psychologist license issued from a state or territory licensing board of the United States of America.
  • Strong listening, observation, and communication skills.
  • High analytical mindset
  • Empathetic and sensitive when working with patients.
