Teen Facilitator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teen Facilitator to join our team at Community Action Corporation of South Texas (CACOST). As a Teen Facilitator, you will be responsible for providing leadership and instruction to youth in local high schools and community organizations using The Dibble Institute's Love Notes 4.0 SRA per fidelity standards.

• Provide group instruction for teens ages 14-18 using The Dibble Institute's Love Notes 4.0 SRA curriculum to teach teens about self-regulation, goal setting, healthy decision-making, and other essential life skills.
• Ensure that implementation of the Love Notes 4.0 SRA meets fidelity standards and work with the Program Manager to increase fidelity and follow any provided improvement plans.
• Coordinate with school counselors, teachers, and organization staff/volunteers for program planning and referrals.
• Assist in strategic dissemination and communication activities to raise awareness of the program with youth, their families, and key stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and timely records, including attendance, demographics, consent forms, and surveys, as required by HHS-FYSB and the program.

• Baccalaureate Degree in Social Work and/or Sociology, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience working with youth and delivering evidence-based positive youth development programming.
• Ability to communicate with youth openly without judgment and promote a positive image through manners, dress, attendance, and attitude.
• Bilingual ability (Spanish/English) is preferred.
• Knowledge of community resources and local agencies is preferred.
