Job Summary

The Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse functions independently as a member of the Norman Regional Cardiovascular patient care team. This individual will be responsible for growing our cardiovascular program, working alongside Registered Nurses, Cardiovascular Technologists, and Cardiologists. The Cath Lab team reports to the Cath Lab Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, circulating, and pre and post care of the Cath Lab
  • Obtains accurate patient information for national registries
  • Performs daily quality controls for a wide range of equipment utilized in the routine care of a Cath Lab
  • Integrates safe, competent, and efficient standards of care for patients presenting to the lab
  • Demonstrates knowledge of cardiovascular medications, including dosing, side effects, and drug interactions
  • Uses critical thinking to identify and manage adverse events or unanticipated outcomes
Requirements
  • Diploma or Associate's degree (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Registered Nurse with current Oklahoma licensure
  • One year of experience working in a Cath Lab department preferred
  • Basic Life Support
  • Advanced Life Support
Compensation and Benefits

$27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience
