IT Specialist Job Summary

American Hardwood Industries is seeking a skilled IT Specialist to join their team in Waynesboro, VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end users, configuring PC systems, and assisting the IT Director with server administration and network management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to end users with hardware and software issues
  • Configure PC systems, including installation of patches and configuration of peripheral devices
  • Assist the IT Director with server administration, network management, and backup device configuration
  • Occasional travel may be required to support company operations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
  • Experience administering VMWare and/or Hyper-V
  • Experience administering Windows Servers and Active Directory
  • Experience administering TCP/IP networks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well with end users and technical teams
