Millennium Physician Group is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in Palmetto. Our Walk-In Clinics offer a flexible schedule, including weekend and evening shifts, and shorter work weeks. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be directly involved in patient care, responsible for the patient experience, and assisting in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a Physician, ARNP, or PA. You will collect vitals and medical histories, perform EKGs, give injections, and enter data in electronic health records. Millennium will provide ample training, including classroom setting and in-office shadowing, to ensure your success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Collect patient vitals and medical histories
- Perform EKGs and give injections
- Enter data in electronic health records
- Assist in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a Physician, ARNP, or PA
Requirements:
- Completed a Medical Assisting Program or Completion of Certification or Registration
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems
