Job Title: Lead Store Associate

Job Summary:

The Lead Store Associate is a key member of our retail team, responsible for assisting the Store Manager in all operational aspects of running the store. This includes ensuring each customer receives outstanding service by providing a positive and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in all activities related to inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with established standards, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Develop and maintain rapport with customers, vendors, and staff to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure strict controls are in place to protect company assets, including cash handling and inventory management.
  • Perform data entry and manage the customer database to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise, monitoring floor stock, and participating in inventory counts.
  • Facilitate the new membership and customer renewal processes, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for customers.
  • Maintain a current stock of educational materials, new customer folders, and other necessary supplies.
  • Frequently maintain the store's cleanliness, including dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, and sanitization.
  • Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect, adhering to company values and policies.
  • Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and Microsoft Office.
