Salary Range
$55 - $60 per hour
About This Role
In this role as a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play an important part in helping our patients recover and feel better about themselves by providing therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities.
You will communicate patient progress or problems to your supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records. You will also document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
This position requires strong organizational and communication skills. You must be able to instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs and maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, meet ASHA certification requirements and have a minimum of six months of experience working with adult and geriatric populations.
