Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN, LPN, or CMA to join our team at the Center for Mental Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct client care, evaluate outcomes, and consult with other health team members as needed.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide direct client care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, evaluating outcomes and consulting with other health team members as required.
  2. Triage walk-ins and new intakes by collecting vital signs and past/current medications, documenting appropriately and reporting results to the RN, APRN, or MD on staff as needed.
  3. Take and record vital signs as needed with regularly scheduled clients.
  4. Notify appropriate licensed personnel when a client has complaints.
  5. Perform all aspects of client care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
  6. Fax/mail physician progress notes/medication lists to the PCP as instructed by the nursing supervisor.
  7. Import lab results into the appropriate EMR as received, notifying the provider/nursing of abnormal results.
  8. Maintain client assistance programs.
  9. Accurately complete personal daily time sheets and clinical documentation and submit to the nursing supervisor in accordance with program policy.
  10. Triage and return medical/nursing phone calls.
  11. Input and maintain current client medication lists in the EMR.
  12. Work hours Monday thru Friday.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of RN or LPN program from an accredited school of Nursing, BSN preferred.
  • Current MT Licensure/Current NLC that includes MT RN Licensure.
  • Current BLS is required.
  • One or more years of experience preferred.
  • If CMA - Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program. Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred or a registered CMA. Current BCLS certification.
