Volunteer Outreach Coordinator

Make a Difference in People's Lives
As a Volunteer and Outreach Specialist at the McNabb Center, you will play a vital role in supporting the community relations department with communications and volunteer management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, track, and manage volunteers for the benefit of the McNabb Center programs and events.
- Streamline the application and review process for volunteers desiring to work within the Center's clinical programs and events.
- Conduct volunteer orientation and training.
- Recruit, vet, interview, and onboard volunteer applicants as appropriate.
- Build relationships and develop partnerships with individuals and social, civic, and local organizations for volunteer purposes.
- Coordinate the Center's outreach and community tabling events.
- Support events as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in communications, marketing, human resources, or a related field.
- Communications and/or volunteer management experience preferred, but not required.
- Highly organized with strong communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
