We are seeking a skilled Audiovisual Technician to join our team at the Utah Valley Convention Center. As a key member of our Audiovisual department, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and striking audiovisual equipment for events and performances.

This is a part-time position that requires flexibility and a willingness to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. In return, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team and gain valuable experience in the audiovisual industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and tear down audiovisual equipment for events and performances
  • Perform routine maintenance on audiovisual equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Consult with clients to determine their audiovisual needs and provide recommendations
  • Provide technical support to other departments as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma and one year of experience in audiovisual and technical media coordination and operation
  • Knowledge of audiovisual equipment and electronic services in public assembly settings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
