About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at OhioHealth. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and document preanesthetic assessments and evaluations of patients.
  • Develop and implement anesthetic plans, including general, regional, local, and sedation techniques.
  • Provide continuous evaluation of patient physical status and select, obtain, and administer anesthetics and other drugs and fluids.
  • Discharge patients from post-anesthesia care and provide follow-up evaluation.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide on-call coverage as required.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in nursing.
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Ohio.
  • Graduate from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
  • Complete the AANA Certification examination.
  • Comply with criteria for biennial re-certification as defined by AANA.
