About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Therapist to join our team at Soar Autism Center in Mesa, Arizona.

Job Summary

This is an evergreen opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy services to children aged 2-6, promoting their cognitive and social growth. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver High-Quality ABA Therapy: Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, developing personalized plans to address each child's unique needs and goals.
  • Bilingual Support: Communicate effectively with families in both English and Spanish, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Implement Intervention Plans: Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement treatment plans, aligning with best practices in ABA therapy.
  • Foster Family Engagement: Keep families informed about their child's progress, addressing concerns and celebrating successes within the ABA framework.
  • Ongoing Training and Development: Engage in continuous education and training to stay updated on advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Language Proficiency: Strong proficiency in both English and Spanish, with a proficiency test required for additional compensation.
  • Educational Background: Preference given to candidates enrolled in or having completed a degree program; bonus points for degrees in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields.
  • Certification and Experience: Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification, with Soar Autism Center providing paid training; previous experience working with children is essential.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to meet physical demands of the role, including sitting, standing, lifting, and occasional walking or running.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Excellent ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and families.
