We are seeking a highly skilled Addiction Support Specialist to join our team at Blue Hills Recovery. As an integral part of our Day Treatment Program, Intensive Outpatient, and Outpatient levels of care, you will play a critical role in providing evidence-based treatment for individuals struggling with substance use or mental health disorders.

**Job Summary**: The Addiction Support Specialist will be responsible for assisting with the supervision of clients in their daily activities, ensuring they follow the clinical schedule, and communicating any issues to the treatment team. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Assist with client supervision and ensure adherence to the clinical schedule
  • Communicate effectively with the treatment team to address any concerns or issues
  • Transport clients as needed, adhering to safety regulations and protocols
  • Conduct regular facility checks to ensure overall safety and security
  • Seek out contraband and report any suspicions or findings immediately to the supervisor
  • Proactively ensure that rules and regulations are upheld, and client rights are respected

**Requirements**:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; two years of experience in a related field preferred
  • Valid driver's license and a minimum of five years of driving experience
  • Experience in chemical dependency/substance abuse/psychiatric settings or human services field preferred
  • Complete TB testing upon hire and undergo background check prior to employment
