We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our team. As a CDL Class A Delivery Driver, you will play a critical role in our logistics and transportation operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of our products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maintain commercial vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
• Loading and unloading product, ensuring it is properly secured and protected during transit.
• Plan and execute routes efficiently, considering traffic conditions, weather, and other factors that may impact delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including bills of lading, mileage logs, and inspection reports.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, reporting any issues to the maintenance team promptly.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

• Safe Driving: Safety is paramount in this role. CDL Class A drivers must have a strong commitment to safe driving practices, including defensive driving techniques, adherence to traffic laws, and maintaining a clean driving record.
• Vehicle Operation: Proficiency in operating and maneuvering Class A commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers or other large trucks, is essential. This includes handling the vehicle in various road and weather conditions.
• Route Planning: The ability to plan efficient routes, considering factors such as traffic, road closures, and delivery schedules, is crucial for on-time deliveries and cost-effective operations.
• Cargo Handling: Expertise in loading and unloading product while ensuring it is properly secured and protected during transit. Knowledge of weight distribution and cargo safety is essential.
• Documentation: Accurate record-keeping is vital. CDL drivers need to maintain logs, complete bills of lading, and document inspections and maintenance records as required by law and company policy.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Experience with short haul driving preferred.
• Clean driving record with a proven track record of safety required.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience.
• Knowledge of and adherence to DOT regulations.
