Job Overview

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Intervention Specialist to join our team in East Compton, CA. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with children and adolescents, helping them develop essential skills and achieve personal milestones.

Salary Information

The estimated weekly salary for this position is $1,200-$1,500 per week, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide direct one-on-one behavioral intervention services to children in school and community settings
  • Implement treatment plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to address social, behavioral, and communication goals
  • Collect and document data on student progress, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Work collaboratively with families, educators, and other team members to support student success
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred)
  • Experience working with children, especially those with special needs, is a plus
  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is preferred but not required (training may be provided)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping children achieve their potential
