Electrical Engineering Co-op Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Co-op student to join our team at White River Marine Group. As an Electrical Engineering Co-op, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects that cover all phases of the New Product Development (NPD) process, from early conception to prototype development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test electrical appliances to collect data for use in system designs.
  • Complete electrical specification documents as per component tests.
  • Work with team members to create specifications for the electrical system design.
  • Create 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) models for electrical components.
  • Generate 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings of the electrical system and components.
  • Conduct bench top electrical tests to collect data.
  • Work with Electrical Engineering to develop electrical systems.
  • Use electrical tools such as O-Scopes, Multi-Meters, Power Supplies.
  • Participate in design reviews.
  • Work with cross-functional team members.
Requirements:
  • Enrolled in a four-year degree majoring in either Electrical Engineering or Electrical Design.
  • Junior or senior level design students.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and with cross-functional team members.
  • 2D and 3D CAD programs.
  • AutoCAD, Zuken, E3, or Catia 3D software, preferred.
  • Skills required to use bench top electrical test equipment.
