Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Community Veterinary Partners. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, exams, and surgeries
  • Conduct patient assessments, take vital signs, and administer medications
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including restraint, handling, and monitoring
  • Communicate effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other hospital staff
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Participate in emergency situations, staying calm and composed under pressure
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years old
  • Minimum of one year experience as a Veterinary Technician
  • CVY certified & licensed
Skills and Qualities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a noisy environment
  • Ability to work with computer-based veterinary software and maintain accurate records
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding patient care and client satisfaction
