About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Rocky Brands. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by consistently soliciting orders, managing current distribution, and developing new points of distribution within the territory.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external customers through effective communication, proactive problem-solving, and a passion for excellence.
  • Proactively identify and solve problems, presenting solutions to drive business growth.
  • Take initiative for self-improvement, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Utilize an effective sales process, including planning, listening, and closing, to drive sales success.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or 2-4 years of experience in an outside sales role or combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of outside sales experience to major retailers.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in sales.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Advanced level of experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated understanding of customer needs and market segmentation.
  • Ability to travel 75% of the time and overnight.
  • Ability to perform moderate physical labor when required, including lifting 50 pounds.
