Diagnostic Radiology Technologist Opportunity

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures at a technical level, applying ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis, and providing patient care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of technical procedures as directed by a physician, serving patients of all ages.
  • Utilize Meditech Admissions and Radiology Modules for patient processing and ensure that images are archived properly in Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital (SRH) PACS.
  • Employ Computerized Radiography for digital capture of diagnostic images and transmit them to Teleradiology for interpretation.
  • Provide patient care and education, including educating patients/families to safety protocols and routine diagnostic procedures.

Requirements:

  • Completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or registry eligible with successful completion of the registry within three months of hire.
  • Current and valid Massachusetts license to perform radiography.
