We are seeking a skilled Grants Program Coordinator to join our team at Park City Municipal Corporation. This role will be responsible for administering and overseeing the Transportation Planning Department's grant planning, programming, writing, and compliance/reporting.

Job Summary

The Grants Program Coordinator will manage the department's grant-seeking process, ensuring alignment with the department's planning and goals. They will also be responsible for maintaining an active 'Grant Tracker' communication tool to keep management and the City Council informed about ongoing grant activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grant Management: Oversee all aspects of Park City's Federal Transit Administration (FTA) capital and operating grant programs, ensuring City compliance with federal requirements and securing funding.
  • Grant Writing: Lead grant management from initial application contract compliance to final close-out analysis, coordinating and maintaining comprehensive management for each grant.
  • Program Development: Prepare, review, and develop contracts and programs for awarded grants, conducting ongoing reviews, quarterly reports, and close-out analyses to monitor progress and address completion.
  • Fiscal Management: Oversee awarded grant program balances, invoicing, reimbursement, and related finance procedures on awarded grants.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the City's Finance, Budget, and Transit Departments, as well as external entities such as the Utah Transit Authority, High Valley Transit, and the Utah Department of Transportation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 3 years of full-time professional employment in a closely related field
  • 3+ years of applicable administration experience
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Creative and innovative thinker
  • Ability to anticipate challenges and resolve issues through creative problem-solving

Working Conditions

Compensation Details

This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $32.92 to $47.73 per hour.
