Before School Program Counselor

The Valley of the Sun YMCA is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Before School Program Counselor to join our team. As a Program Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and engaging environment for children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Responsibilities- Lead children through interactive activities, such as arts and crafts, gym games, and more.
- Create positive and lasting memories for each child, every day.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children.
- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to YMCA standards and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and supervisors to ensure seamless program delivery.
- Minimum age of 18
- Must enjoy working with children
- Current fingerprint clearance card and negative TB test or the ability to obtain
