Highly Skilled Diesel Mechanic Lead

As a Diesel Mechanic Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet's diesel equipment. This position requires strong diagnostic skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair diesel equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and minimize downtime.
- Document all repair orders, PM lists, and parts accountability to maintain accurate records.
- Handle road service calls, perform road rescue/transport equipment as needed, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- 3 years of commercial diesel mechanic or reefer experience (or 2 years with TK or Refrigeration certification).
- Ability to comply with EPA and OSHA regulations, read technical manuals, and communicate effectively with coworkers and drivers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to adapt to changing needs, and willingness to work overtime when required.
We provide a competitive salary of $32 per hour, plus a $10,000 retention bonus, an annual tool allowance, and benefits starting on day one, including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and life insurance.
