Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Professional II to join our team in the County of Los Angeles California. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in assessing client needs and developing effective treatment plans.

About the Role

In this challenging yet rewarding position, you will work closely with individuals, their families, and significant others to gather comprehensive information about their medical, social, employment, and mental health histories.

You will assess clients' functioning in their environmental settings, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for support. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us deliver high-quality care to those who need it most.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough interviews with clients, their families, and significant others to gather detailed information about their backgrounds and circumstances.
  • Analyze data and assess clients' functioning in their environmental settings, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans that address clients' complex needs.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, empowering them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
Requirements
  • A degree in social work or a related field, preferably with experience working in mental health settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
