As a Senior Living Sales Director, you will play a crucial role in driving top-line revenue for our community by maintaining and exceeding budgeted occupancy, average daily census, and rate-per-unit revenue targets.
Job Summary:
The Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for overseeing internal and external marketing efforts, direct selling, lead generation, and overall sales performance for the community. This position requires excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate direct reports and achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Revenue Growth: Maintain and exceed budgeted occupancy, average daily census, and rate-per-unit revenue targets through effective sales strategies and lead generation.
- Lead Marketing Efforts: Develop and implement strategic monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing plans in cooperation with the VP of Sales, focusing on prospect engagement, visit agendas, event planning, and performance expectations.
- Sales Performance: Achieve quotas/ ratios, maintain a personal lead database, and ensure accurate representation of product, services, and fee structure.
- Leadership and Communication: Motivate direct reports to achieve occupancy and revenue goals, supervise, schedule, orient, and train direct reports, and relay resident feedback to staff for improvements/praise.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 3 years of progressively responsible work experience in sales and marketing in senior living, healthcare, or related field preferred.
- Education: Combination of education and/or experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university, with major work in marketing or related field.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and present information effectively.
