Customer Service Specialist for Girl Scouts

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Specialist to join our team at the Girl Scout Council of Southern Appalachians. This is an exciting opportunity to provide top-notch customer service to current and prospective members, both externally and internally.
Job OverviewThe Member Services Representative is responsible for being the first point of contact for inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, including retail. This role requires providing exceptional customer service by utilizing all systems, policies, and procedures established by the Council.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in providing prompt and courteous customer service in a call center or with a customer relationship management database. Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.
- We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience.
- This full-time position comes with regular hours of 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and Saturdays.
- Maintenance of Girl Scout membership throughout employment is required.
The Girl Scout Council of the Southern Appalachians serves 46 counties from southwest Virginia, through east Tennessee, and into northwest Georgia. Our mission is to empower girls and young women through leadership development, community engagement, and character-building activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent knowledge.
- At least two years of experience in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Regular and prompt attendance required.
