Job SummaryThe Exercise Physiologist functions under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Manager and assists in coordinating patient care activities. This position requires a Master's degree and prior experience in Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to observe, obtain information, and document patient data accurately.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in developing and implementing individualized exercise programs for patients with cardiac or pulmonary conditions.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust exercise programs as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on exercise techniques and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Master's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field.
- Prior experience in Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
- CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred.
- Clinical Exercise Physiologist Certification preferred.
