Job Description

UPMC is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant or CRNP to join our Surgical Oncology GI Team at the Shadyside Cancer Pavilion. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art surgical care for gastrointestinal diseases and cancers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care activities for a group of patients and their families through the application of independent judgment, communication, and collaboration with all team members.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians, other health care providers, patients, and their families, to achieve desired patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive work environment that fosters open communication, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence.

Requirements:

  • Current state RN license and CRNP certification are required for CRNPs.
  • Current state PA license certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is required for PAs.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience or completion of a post-graduate residency is required for Senior Level positions.
