Location: St. Louis Park, MN

Type: Travel Contract

Length: 13 Weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Shift: Day Shifts, Start times at 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM, 8-hour shifts

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct echocardiograms and related diagnostic procedures accurately.
  • Utilize expertise in electrocardiography, arrhythmias, and sterile techniques.
  • Operate defibrillator and crash cart, and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
  • Manage medical emergencies and perform basic clerical tasks as needed.
  • Recognize and report equipment issues promptly.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Non-Invasive Cardiology Technology program required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of cardiac experience in a large hospital setting required.
  • Knowledge of mathematical principles, electrocardiography, and sterile techniques.
  • Ability to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and handle medical emergencies.
  • License: RDCS and ARDMS required upon submission.
  • Certification: CPR/BLS required upon submission.
  • Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission.
About the Opportunity

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week travel assignment in St. Louis Park, MN. This position offers 40 hours per week with day shifts and includes a weekend rotation every 6th/7th weekend. On-call duties are required every 4th weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM). The role also includes floating within the unit as needed. No major holiday coverage is required.
