Bindery Specialist

Job Summary:

JLS Mailing Services is seeking a highly skilled Bindery Specialist to join our team in Brockton, MA. As a Bindery Specialist, you will be responsible for performing various binding and finishing tasks, including cutting, folding, drilling, and shrink-wrapping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and prepare jobs to specifications within the department's job orders
• Operate various binding and finishing equipment, including MBO folders and attachments, Challenge Cutters, and Besler Shrinkwrap
• Conduct quality checks on materials produced and ensure accuracy and efficiency in completing orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with internal staff members to ensure smooth production and meet deadlines

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in digital printing or mailing industry
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, with a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
