Vehicle Movement Coordinator

As a Vehicle Movement Coordinator at Wallenius Wilhelmsen, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth movement of vehicles from storage to shipping points. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment will be essential in maintaining accurate vehicle counts and locations. You will also be responsible for preparing vehicles for shipping, including hanging labels and routing, as well as acting as a liaison between the company and haul away truck carriers. Additionally, you will conduct regular vehicle maintenance, including checking for damage, checking batteries, and replacing PGF wrap as required. If you have a valid driver's license and a good driving record, and are able to work in adverse weather conditions, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to join our team and contribute to our mission of transforming logistics into a zero-emission industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare vehicles for shipping by hanging labels, routing, and other activities as required
* Conduct regular vehicle maintenance, including checking for damage, checking batteries, and replacing PGF wrap as required
* Act as a liaison between the company and haul away truck carriers
* Perform job duties in a safe and responsible manner
* Follow all safety practices, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
* Valid driver's license and a good driving record
* Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Ability to communicate work instructions with others using basic high school vocabulary
* Ability to read and interpret work orders and Standard Operating Sheets
