We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Services Specialist to join our Intensive Behavioral Health Services team in the Wilkes Barre area. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing behavioral health services to children and their families.

About the Role

This is a part-time variable position that requires flexibility with scheduling around client needs. You will work collaboratively with the child, family, and treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, assessing needs and identifying behavioral goals and intervention techniques.

Responsibilities
  • Design and direct the implementation of behavioral modification intervention plans in collaboration with other members of the treatment team
  • Use written orders and assessments to determine the treatment approach, incorporating data analysis to ensure successful outcomes
  • Work with the child and family to develop safety, discharge, and aftercare plans, recommending non-aversive methods for conduct change
  • Provide assessments, program design, monitoring, and consultation with the service delivery team
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing mental health direct services to children up to and including age 21, or a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling
  • License as a Behavioral Specialist (BSL), Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, or Graduate degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)
  • Possess strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to pass required clearances and own a valid driver's license

  • Billable rates: Licensed Behavior Consultant ($40/hour), Non-Licensed Behavior Consultant ($32/hour)
  • Administrative Rates: Supervision and Training ($14/hour), All other non-billable functions ($7.50/hour)
