Fundraising and Communications Manager

At Youth Action Project, we are seeking a highly skilled Fundraising and Communications Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to drive impactful fundraising campaigns and effectively communicate our vision to the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fund Development & Donor Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy to achieve annual fundraising goals and sustain our programs and initiatives.
  • Strategic Marketing & Communications: Develop and oversee the implementation of an integrated marketing and strategic communications strategy to engage target audiences and increase our visibility.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience is preferred.
  • Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates effective fund development, cause-based marketing, and strategic communications will be considered.
Requirements:
  • The ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and talking on the phone.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • # new donors / % recurring donors
  • # active donors/conversion (to recurring) % rate
  • # donor engagements/donor retention %
  • average $ per donor / total donations rec'd.

This is a hybrid position with a requirement to travel on occasion. The person in this position may be required to travel. Must possess and maintain a valid California Driver's License, be insurable, and have/ maintain a good driving record throughout the course of employment.
