Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Thomas Jefferson University. As an integral member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with complex acute and chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients with acute and complex chronic conditions, including medication side effects, immobility, and fluid and electrolyte imbalance.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to make diagnoses and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe therapeutic interventions as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate and timely records.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
  • National Board Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
  • Experience in oncology or hematology preferred.
  • Covid vaccination required for employment.
