We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at TalentBurst. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing.
Responsibilities:- Collect blood samples from patients using various techniques and equipment.
- Prepare samples for laboratory testing by labeling, storing, and transporting them safely.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate anxiety.
- Work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient information.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training preferred.
- Minimum three years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable).
- Competitive salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year based on location and experience.
