Job Overview

Nola Staffing is seeking an experienced education professional to join our team as a charter school teacher. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to a dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Planning and Implementation

Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing educational activities and lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student growth and understanding.

Support Services

Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help outside of regular classroom instruction. Tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of each student and foster a culture of inclusivity and respect.

Classroom Management

Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and learning. Implement effective strategies to manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and productive learning space.

Preparation and Organization

Aid in the preparation and organization of instructional materials, ensuring that they are accurate, complete, and accessible to all students. Assist with the setup and maintenance of a well-organized classroom that promotes efficiency and productivity.

Student Supervision

Monitor students during activities, transitions, and recess to ensure their safety and adherence to school policies. Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, built on trust, empathy, and open communication.

Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to support the overall educational goals of the class. Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents to ensure seamless coordination and mutual understanding.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Education and Certification

A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required. Hold valid teaching certification or a license to practice as an educator.

Interpersonal and Communication Skills

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, students, and parents.

Patience, Empathy, and Passion

Show patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children. Possess the ability to create a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters social-emotional growth and academic success.

Flexibility and Adaptability

Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to changing circumstances and priorities. Be willing to adjust your approach as needed to meet the evolving needs of students and the school community.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan options, and paid time off.
