This is an exciting opportunity to join Care New England Health System as a Registered Nurse in our Evening Shift. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse to provide direct patient care based on the knowledge of ANA Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, Butler Hospital policies and procedures, and the RI Nurse Practice Act.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will participate in treatment planning to coordinate management of medical and nursing care and discharge planning of their patients. They will also be responsible for coordinating psychiatric and/or medical emergencies in such a manner that assures the individual in crisis is properly cared for and that all other patients are safe.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications with knowledge of action, mode of administration, side effects, and contraindications.
  • Assume role of Charge Nurse for the shift.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RI nursing license.
  • B.S.N preferred.
Work Schedule:

20/40 Part Time Evenings - Every Other Weekend
